Qualifications:
  • Medical University, degree in general medicine,

    • special examination in obstetrics and gynaecology,
    • special examination in medical organization.

  • University of Law and Political Science, degree in legal studies,

    • special lawyer's examination in comprehensive law.

Professional Activities:
  • panel-doctor,
  • ward doctor at the maternity and gynaecological ward of a clinic-hospital, later specialist doctor,
  • chief doctor and head of council medical department
  • clinic superintendent,
  • head of section in the Ministry of Health,
  • deputy head of department in the Ministry of Justice.
Besides non-hospital activities I worked as an external expert in a clinic for women, then in capital hospital, and maintained a private surgery.

1986-1991:
  • candidate, later member and accredited head of legal advisory association,
  • staying in Sweden with work and residence permit,
  • managing a limited liability company.
Since 1991:
  • private lawyer
Since 1996:
  • the member and manager of the MARTINI LAW OFFICE,
  • besides, while being engaged in continuous further training in my original specialities, I provide expert advice on obstetrical and gynaecological issues, regarding the relating laws,
  • as the professional president of the Hungarian Interdisciplinary Association of Doctors and Lawyers (MOJIT), I deal with issues on medical organization, legislation and enforcement.
I have been engaged in permanent contracts of agency within the competence of the activities of the office:

My clients may not be listed regarding the contents of items 3 and 4 in the position statement of the Budapest Chamber of Attorneys at Law referring to the appearance of chamber members on the Internet.

My exclusive field of activities is health care, with special emphasis on:
  • legal representation in adjudication of claims, and suits for damages against or in favour of health institutions (by the side of either the plaintiff or the defendant),
  • provision of legal assistance in criminal procedures against doctors (in which, however, I do not accept the aggrieved party's representation),
  • upon request, provision of expert evidence on obstetrical-gynaecological, professional and legal issues (but, in view of the law about attorneys, not as an expert in forensic medicine from the roll of the Ministry of Justice), for claimants or health institutions, furthermore, for medical experts listed by the Ministry of Justice, and also during the course of mediation proceedings,
  • teaching medical law studies; opening discussions and reading presentations at congresses and conferences in this field,
  • preparing and reporting on materials relating to health organization and the operation of institutions,
  • accepting permanent legal-medical commissions in the field of the above mentioned issues
in accordance with the Act XI of 1998 about lawyers, and also the relevant regulations referring to the Hungarian Bar Association and the Budapest Chamber of Attorneys at Law.

In case of ad hoc engagement agreements I provide:
  • the enforcement of patients' rights and claims for compensation, the representation of claimants, or
  • the legal representation of different health institutions, and
  • the defence of doctors in cases of endangerment committed within the field of medical profession.
Additional activities:

Between 1994 and 1996 I was one of the regular authors of the professional judicial periodical called "Medical Protection Hungary". I also published my writings in other journals, for instance, in "Magyar Jog" ("The Hungarian Law") and "Magyar Nőorvosok Lapja" ("Journal for Hungarian Gynaecologists"), "Nőgyógyászati és Szülészeti Továbbképző Szemle" ("Training Review on Gynaecology and Obstetrics"). I have been interviewed by a great number of magazines and different papers, radio stations and TV channels.

Since 1995 I have continuously and regularly been invited as a lecturer to different congresses, programmes and universities.

Membership in professional organizations:
  • the professional President of the Hungarian Interdisciplinary Association of Doctors and Lawyers, which is the member-society of MOTESZ (Association of Hungarian Medical Societies),
  • the member of the Second District Division of the Hungarian Chamber of Doctors in Budapest, and
  • the member of the Budapest Chamber of Attorneys at Law.
